Climb before you slide
Slides never go out of fashion and are a staple item in any children’s playground!
The way to reach the top of the slide depends on the age group: wide steps provide stable footing for younger children, while older children can climb up a ladder.
Slides also come in a variety of shapes, but whether straight, wavy, curved or spiral, the sheer enjoyment of sliding, the sensation of height, the thrill of discovering the sense of gravity and the pride in overcoming the fear of heights remain the same. Slides also teach children how to queue and wait their turn patiently, and also how to help other children who are younger or struggling to climb.
