In France, Decree No. 94-699 of August 10, 1994 and Decree No. 96-1136 of December 18, 1996 respectively regulate the safety requirements for playground equipment and the safety rules for public playgrounds. Proludic ensures that every project fully complies with these requirements.
Manufactured in our factory in Vouvray, Indre-et-Loire (France), our equipment is designed to withstand intensive use. In high-traffic environments such as stations or airports, structures are heavily used — durability is essential.
We carefully select our materials to guarantee longevity and easy maintenance:
– HPL compact laminate panels resistant to impacts, UV exposure and vandalism
– Galvanised steel ensuring optimal structural strength and proven anti-corrosion protection

Specific constraints of playgrounds in transit areas
Installing a playground in a station or airport involves more than simply placing structures in a space. These infrastructures are public access buildings (ERP) subject to strict regulations that go beyond EN 1176 and EN 1177 standards. Our experience in these environments allows us to anticipate every constraint from the design stage.
Operating these sites also brings specific operational constraints. Maintenance must often be carried out quickly, outside peak hours or during nighttime closures. Our fastening systems and modular components are designed to facilitate technical interventions without immobilising the play area longer than necessary.
Passenger flows are also unpredictable: seasonal peaks, strikes, delays. Playgrounds must absorb these variations without compromising safety or circulation flow. The surrounding noise levels also require structures that do not amplify sound but encourage play in a calm environment.
