As part of a policy to enhance its natural spaces and develop family well-being, the city of Toulon wanted to create playground equipment in its brand new green space, the immense Parc de la Loubière (16,000 m²). The aim is to create a play area with high added value, linked to nature, to enhance the appeal of the site and offer children a place to meet, experience adventure and learn.
To meet this demand, Proludic has designed unique playground equipment that blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape: a giant bee made of sustainable natural wood which is aesthetically pleasing in an evocative shape for children. The playground equipment forms a playful whole full of discoveries, inspired by nature and the animal world.

A spectacular central structure and complementary wooden equipment
In the centre of the playground equipment, a majestic painted wooden structure representing a bee. Made of warm sustainable robinia wood, this structure is an invitation to adventure and encounters. Inside the bee, children discover a balancing trail made up of net tunnels, climbing nets and suspended platforms, encouraging them to test their agility, coordination and motor skills. This realm of experiences also encourages interactions and cooperation between children, who help each other to overcome the various obstacles and share the thrills of this immersion in the heart of the bee.

Around this central structure, several elements from the Origin’ range of sustainable natural wooden equipment enrich the play experience:
- A wooden Nest tower, over 5 metres high, incorporating interactive equipment, a slide and climbing apparatus,
- Two wooden springers,
- A natural wood balancing trail,
- A slackline to develop your sense of balance,
- And several items of wooden interactive equipment designed for toddlers.

The playground equipment combines natural materials and warm colours. It offers children a complete sensory and motor experience, and families a friendly, safe and stimulating environment.
