Proludic - Développement durable

Proludic and Sustainable development

Proludic is committed to the following principles, and takes action every day to apply them :
Providing children with enhanced quality of life in a protected world
Ensuring that your equipment is environmentally friendly
Minimising the impact of its activities on the environment and protecting natural resources on a sustainable basis

Proludic cannot attach so much importance to children without being concerned about preservation of the environment for present and future generations.
At a time when the words “sustainable development” are on everyone’s lips, the question of the environment is much more than just a passing fad for Proludic!

Proludic has implemented an environmental policy aimed at limiting the impact of its activities on the environment throughout the full service life of its equipment.
In 2005, its environmental policy was recognised and validated by its ISO 14001 certification.

certification ISO 14001

Proludic guarantees the following features for play and sports equipment it provides:
100% of the wood used is obtained from sustainable managed forests
80% of the waste products are recycled and the other 20% are passed on to energy recovery processes.
The process used to paint the plywood panels has been modified with a systematic switch to water-based paint that is free of solvents and lead free
The manufacturing processes give off minimum levels of VOCs
The packaging has been optimised and the delivery logistics rationalized to limit the levels of atmospheric pollution.

The whole company is now committed to minimise its impact on the environment, through:
Reduced consumption levels of energy and chemicals
 Cutting levels of industrial wastage

Organised waste management

Its determination to incorporate eco-design in its equipment development process

Proludic is also available to advise on the various solutions for recycling the equipment in your play areas at the end of its service life.
